Welcome to Songcatchers!

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable access to high quality music education, training and enrichment to children and families in and around New Rochelle, NY. ​ The magic that comes with learning to play an instrument or sing in a choir helps children grow into expressive, confident adults, instilling self-esteem, inner peace and a sense of belonging. Studies show that musical training improves literacy, memory, and math skills. ​ Songcatchers nurtures this development by offering quality, accessible music instruction to all members of our multicultural community. Our programs bring music into children’s lives, fostering a lifelong appreciation of the arts.
