The After-School Music Program provides individual and small group instrumental lessons for children ages 7-13.
Our instructors are talented high school and college musicians. Our volunteer staff are mentored by professional musicians, who guide the teen volunteers in their teaching.
Lessons are offered on weekdays and Saturday mornings on the following:
Voice, Piano, Trumpet, Trombone, Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Xylophone, Drums.
We also offer voice lessons!
We have two recitals a year: Mid-Winter & Spring
Registration: $50-$100 annually, depending on the number of children in the family (sibling discounts available)
Materials Fee: $25-$35 per family annually
Lessons: $15 per lesson
Instrumental Rental: $25-$35 annually, depending on the instrument
Lesson Times:
Tuesdays – Fridays: 4:00-5:30 PM
Saturdays: 9:30-10:45 AM, 10:15-11:45 AM, 11:45 AM – 1 PM
We follow the calendar of the City School District of New Rochelle.
We have rolling admissions depending on instrument availability.
