What a tremendous honor it was to chaperone the NRHS Symphonic Orchestra to NYSSMA Majors, where, under the guidance of Ms. Claire Stancarone, they achieved the prestigious Level 6 Gold with distinction playing this song by Karl Jenkins called Palladio (you’ll recognize it when you listen).

Witnessing many of our Songcatchers students, who have matured as musicians alongside our equally gifted volunteer teachers, attain the highest honor was gratifying! Not only to see them when they received their honor, but also to know that Songcatchers is making a valuable contribution to music education in the City School District.

CONGRATULATIONS to Ms. Stancarone and the NRHS Symphonic Orchestra for achieving the highest level of NYSSMA Majors!
